Founder and executive director of the CARE Center, Rhonda and Ismael “Snapper” Castro
The dream of the CARE Center dates back to 2015 when Rhonda and Ismael first started working on issues related to homelessness. The center, located at 766 W. Andrew Johnson Highway, Greeneville, TN opened on Thanksgiving Day, 2023. The first day was celebrated by the serving of 180 meals to those in need. The Center has operated continuously since with the help of dedicated volunteers. Without the donations from those in our community, this dream could not have grown and flourished.
